Repair Schedule Unreliable
I was left without a toilet for more than a week as they took over a week to send someone out to fix my plumbing issue. It was pretty irritating when trying to get something scheduled, and it seemed as though the customer service didn't really care that someone might have to spend a whole week without working toilets. I get that people are busy sometimes, but I think a home warranty company can make some extra accommodations to push urgent matters to the front. Overall, whole experience was disappointing and made things rather inconvenient.

Service Quality Doesn't Justify the Cost
I have been using Cinch for almost four months now, and I rarely give them above zero rating. My dishwasher repair was done over three visits, with me losing my hour every time to set aside for them. Long Response Times for Claims
Cinch Home Services had some disappointing response times when dealing with claims. During summer, I had an issue with my HVAC unit, and it took them days to send a technician. It's Complicated Claims Process
More of a hassle than I thought to put in a claim with Cinch, as I never seemed to get my problem to the right person; I kept repeating myself to several representatives. Call times were terribly long. It's not too great of a process or anything simple, really, and it took me a long time to get things clarified. Cinch needs to get the claims together so that the customer is able to receive help that little quicker.

Unacceptable customer service
To have my air conditioner repaired, I placed a service call to Cinch, whose customer support was a disappointment. The person I spoke with seemed untrained, and frankly, could not indicate what time the person was coming to repair my air conditioner. I was left in the dark on this information. As a rule, better customer support training would be greatly beneficial for them to improve their service.

Confusing Billing Process and Lack of Clarity
Billing was vague in Cinch. I signed up assuming just a straight charge that includes whatever, but they are going to sock it to you with fees that explained nothing at all. When I called them to have them explain it to me, I got useless responses and nothing for the explanation. That makes me think that the service wasn't worth all that it is taking.

Inconsistent and Delayed Repairs
My last repair with Cinch was a nightmare. It took them two weeks to get someone out to my house to repair my oven. After getting my oven repaired it broke again. I would have thought that the technician could have done the work more as conscientiously. Really frustrating to have to call them to do the job multiple times. A warranty service should be able to provide much better continuity.

Tough to Cancel
I was forced to terminate my service with Cinch due to constant fault, but the procedure is quite cumbersome. I had to be put through several transfers before a person finally came on the line who knew what they were talking about. Moreover, I incurred an unnecessary early termination fee of which I was not informed. It is a simple process that the company should simplify for the complaining customers.

When my washing machine stopped working, I called Cinch, thinking that it would be resolved quickly. Over a week had passed, in reality before a technician arrived and proceeded to order parts to make it not work again, thereby adding a longer period of time that I went without that appliance working. Unforeseen Out-of-Pocket Expenses
After buying Cinch, I would thought that most of the bills of repair will be covered but that was not a case. There were some hidden charges out of pocket in which they didn't disclose their previously existing contract and hence made me unprepared for them. I called in and asked customer service about this, and it was not clear reason. The hidden charges only made me disappointed and left me thinking whether I should have picked on it or not.

The Cinch at first was nice, but once my stove got fixed up, the problem recurred about four weeks later. So I called again in hopes they would follow through, and I was informed I need to schedule another appointment and pay another service call. I actually bought Cinch in with the idea that buying it would cover all servicing hassles, but for me personally, that has been a disappointment, given that my refrigerator's repair was put off numerous times and no one ever bothered to reach out and let me know. I ended up to be charged extra which was not explained at the time of subscribing, even their customer service could not make clear to me the charges incurred more.
