Awesome Experience, Very Easy for the Kids

I have been using BusyKid for a couple of months now, and it's been a great tool in teaching my children about money. They like earning their allowance and completing tasks, but I love how easy everything is to monitor. It is an easy app, and the concept is solid. The only thing that gives me some issue is the monthly charge; maybe a little less.

Fantastic Learning Tool

BusyKid is an amazing way for kids to learn financial responsibility. My son loves the ability to earn money for chores, and I love that I can teach him budgeting. Fun and Educational

BusyKid is a fun and educational platform that has helped my kids manage their allowances. The concept is simple, but it teaches so many essential life skills. Disappointed with Customer Service

This time, I really wanted to love BusyKid since, as I thought, they were going to be so good at teaching the principles of money management. At my expense, however, Customer Service has disappointed me by being unresponsive, unsympathetic or both. When problems manifested themselves in the failure to sync with my bank accounts, I asked for service. Days went by; response finally came. Still unhelpful. Sometimes frustratingly so. This experience with the platform does leave glitches that sometimes leave a kid unable to view income earned. Overall, with all the concept involved being so great, this frustrating aspect is enough not worth the hassle.

Obscure Pricing and Expensive

I signed up for BusyKid hoping that it would become a helpful resource for my children, but the pricing seemed vague and much too steep. I paid monthly, feeling that for the price of this program, I wouldn't receive much in exchange. It also seemed costly compared to others that are nearly the same, so many features on this app are not beneficial to warrant such an expense to me. Also, personally, the app was sometimes confusing and wasn't so user-friendly. I liked not paying monthly, to start, so I chose to stop using it since it offered no trial of service before starting. Overall, I'd recommend it as being great for some families, but not for myself.

Not Enough Features for the Money

I thought BusyKid would be an excellent way to teach my kids how to manage money, but it's been a disappointment so far. The concept is good, but the features are very limited for the money. My kids quickly lost interest because there are few activities or ways to earn. I wanted to see more variety.

A Game Changer for Teaching Kids About Money

BusyKid has completely changed the way I teach my children about money. Since our first week, my kids have been actively participating and earning their weekly allowances for tasks and chores, which teaches them a sense of responsibility. A solid app for financial learning with lots of room for improvement

I have used BusyKid for three months so far, and it is a great learning tool for kids. They like earning for doing tasks, and I have liked the way I get to monitor them and see what tasks I can include for them to do as well. It helps them appreciate the sense of earning through work. Actually, the only thing that would make BusyKid better would be perhaps adding more features, options, and customizable savings options. It is a reliable app, but with more and more features added to it, I have seen changes in understanding the concept of finance from my little ones.

Frustrating Experience, Bugs Everywhere

I tried BusyKid thinking it would be an easy way to teach my kids about money, but unfortunately, it's been a pain in the neck. The app is so buggy and glitchy, it's hard to keep track of allowance and tasks accurately. Even when I contacted customer support, their response was so slow, and they did not provide a real solution to the problem. Also, the platform is so basic that there aren't enough interesting features to keep my kids interested for long. For what I'm paying every month, I would have expected much smoother and engaging experience. I will advise people to look for another platform with better customer support and fewer technical issues.

"I used BusyKid for a few months, and I was really disappointed. It's good only for tracking chores, but doesn't really give kids education on money management. The reward system for tasks is cool, but that's just about it. There isn't anything more than that. Nothing on budgeting, or saving for goals, or investing. These are all really important lessons in financial literacy. My kids like doing the chore, but they're not getting much education on how to manage money. I think the app could be so much better with more complete lessons on money management. I don't think it's worth the price, and won't renew."
