Fresh ingredients and quick meals

Nice meals, but delivery could be better
I have liked the food that Blue Apron has been sending me. The food quality is also good, but there were a couple of times when the delivery issues showed up: the box would arrive after the expected date. The food is fine, but the services should definitely improve in their delivery department.

Not worth the price
Blue Apron sounded like a decent choice at first, but after multiple weeks of trying their meals, I have been really disappointed. It's too expensive for the quality of ingredients provided; moreover, some meals did not even come out to taste anywhere close to what was marketed. There have also been times when the delivery arrived very late and some of the items were missing in the box. Upon calling their customer service, it helped a little, and then I had to wait days for replacements. While the meal variety is okay, I don't think it's worth the price. Now I'm considering other options, which will give better value for money.

Disappointed with the service
I had high hopes for Blue Apron, but it quickly became apparent it wasn't for me. The portion sizes were smaller than expected, and I often found myself having to supplement with extra ingredients from my pantry. Some of the meals didn't turn out as promised due to unclear instructions or missing items. In addition, the service was inhomogeneous: some deliveries came late, and there were even cases of ingredients being damaged. It's also pretty pricey for what you're getting. Sure, some of the meals tasted good, but on the whole, I really can't justify continuing with this service.

Terrible customer support
My experience with Blue Apron started off on the wrong foot, with my first box arriving late and a couple of ingredients missing. When I tried calling customer service, I was put on hold for over 30 minutes and didn't receive any clear solution. The meals were alright, but the overall experience felt so disorganized. I would cancel my subscription after a lot of issues with delivery and some not-so-satisfactory responses from the customer service. That's a pity, as an idea, meal kits sound great, but in reality, they leave a lot to be desired.

Average experience
Blue Apron works if someone wants the convenience of meal kits, but I am not so sure it's worth the price. The meals were good but nothing out of the ordinary. A few of the ingredients that came to me were wilted or over their good date, which just irritated me. The delivery times are not very consistent, and this disrupted my schedule once or twice with a late box. The recipes were simple to follow, but sometimes didn't match the pictures. In general, this is an okay service, but I get better meal options at my grocery store for less money.

Disappointed with the quality
I was really excited to try Blue Apron, but it ended up being a disappointment overall. A few of the meals were really bland and under-seasoned; I found myself adding extra spices and ingredients from my own kitchen to make them flavorful. A few ingredients were not fresh upon arrival; produce was already starting to spoil. Customer service took a little while to get back to me after I reached out to them. While the idea of pre-portioned meals is nice, I just don't think it's worth the cost for the quality I received. I'm likely to cancel my subscription.

Good idea, but needs improvement
Great idea with Blue Apron, but the execution needs some fine-tuning. The meals I tried were easy to make and tasted okay, but there were a few problems I had. Poor quality and inconsistent service

Overhyped and underwhelming
I've tried Blue Apron a few months in, and, quite frankly, am underwhelmed. Meals have been hit or miss; some have tasted quite good, while others are completely bland and unmemorable. To top that off, late deliveries and missing ingredients have happened more than once. At this price point, the quality should be better-the vegetables and proteins, in particular. I have also found at times that portion sizes do not always agree with the recipe description. For someone with a big appetite, this could be a little small. I would much rather prepare my own meals with fresh ingredients that I choose for myself.

Waste of money
In my opinion, the convenience of Blue Apron was not anything more than a hassle. The meals were mostly delivered late, and the produce was not that fresh. In addition, the meals were very simplistic and lacking in flavor. The money that I spent wasn't worth it. There were occasions when boxes would come without some ingredients or even the packaging is damaged, so at the last minute, I would have to make adjustments. I also had problems with their canceling procedure. I received multiple deliveries after I had already canceled my subscription, and it was annoying. Wouldn't recommend.

Great concept, poor execution

Too expensive for the quality
Blue Apron failed to deliver the experience that I was expecting. Whereas the meals were great, none of them came as close as they looked in the pictures. The portions were smaller compared to what was expected. Ingredients were not fresh and of poor quality. Another problem was that items arrived missing or damaged, which entailed last-minute substitutions in some recipes. Besides that, I also found the service quite pricey. At this price, I expected quality and a little more consistency. Since then, I have canceled my subscription and will not be returning.

I think Blue Apron has potential, but it's been a frustrating experience. On several occasions, produce was not fresh, and one of my boxes arrived with spoiled chicken. Delivery was also inconsistent-boxes sometimes arrived late, which caused me to adjust my meal plans. I tried contacting customer service, but it took days to resolve any issues. Could be better for the price
The meals were OK but not as good as I expected from Blue Apron. I thought the ingredients should have been fresher considering how much money was invested in it. Not worth
When I signed up, Blue Apron seemed like a good option, but after several weeks of their meals, I have become disappointed. Horrible experience, disappointing quality
Unfortunately, my experience with Blue Apron was frustrating right from the start. More than once, ingredients came in late, and I needed to make last-minute substitutions just to complete meals. More often than not, the quality of the produce was not very good: wilted greens, overripe fruits. Calls to customer service regarding such problems were met with less-than-helpful responses, and the meals themselves were tasteless. I paid enough to have fresh, high-quality ingredients, and that was far from it.

Disorganized and inconsistent

Not what I expected
I heard great things about Blue Apron, and so I was excited to try it. However, my experience has been less than stellar. The meals were often bland, and portions seemed small for the price. Wouldn?t recommend it
While Blue Apron was the seeming easy way out for home cooking, it turned not to be. Meals with them were so overpriced, and there are always ruined ingredients upon delivery. Mostly, these vegetables arrived in bruised or wilted conditions, and that was the worst to see. Even though I kept up the recipes, meal taste results were expected different, yet I kept more in trash than what I could eat.

Not worth the subscription fee
Having tried Blue Apron a couple of months ago, I wouldn't say that I was impressed. The recipes were very easy to follow; however, more often than not, ingredients would arrive either bruised or less than fresh.
