Waited a Long Time for a Simple Claim

I had to submit my claim three to four times because Allianz kept misplacing my paperwork. It was well over two months into the whole process, and all the time, I had to keep pestering customer service about the status. Eventually, they reimbursed me, but it wasn't worth the hassle.

Allianz Covered My Concert Cancellation

I was set to see a concert but needed to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. I bought Allianz insurance just in case and was glad I did. They expedited the claim for the ticket amount and refunded all of it. Super easy to submit the claim, and customer support was quite responsive upon having an inquiry or two. Relieved, most importantly didn't lose my money. Will continue to use Allianz for further events and trips.

Frustrating Experience

I supplied every document needed for my claim, and even then, Allianz asked for more information. The resolution was far longer than expected, with about a month to get reimbursement after all. Everything was not smooth, and next time, I will really think twice before buying travel insurance.

Inconsistent Information

Extremely Disappointed with Allianz

I had a horrible experience with Allianz. I filed a claim for trip cancellation due to a medical emergency, which for no apparent reason whatsoever was rejected. I called customer service multiple times; the wait times were ridiculous, and when they finally put me through with a representative, he wasn't helpful in the slightest. Felt every bit that they were doing everything in their power to get around paying my claim. Very disappointed and will never use Allianz again. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
