Great Budgeting Advice
I really like the fact that Albert gives great budgeting advice, very usable, and simple to put into operation. Also, its automated savings feature saves me money that I did not even know I had. Generally, it's easy to use, but does a good job of giving insights as to where my money is being spent. The one thing that keeps me from giving Albert the full five stars for their customer support is that they don't answer immediately. Overall, Albert has been a very reliable app through which I can manage my finances. Impressive, it got me organized with my finances so fast. I will recommend this to anyone who wants to save money with not much effort.

Convenient and Effective

A Good Budgeting Tool
I have actually found Albert to be pretty helpful when it comes to budgeting and saving. I am highly disappointed with the customer support
I have been hopeful with Albert about budgeting and saving, but so far, I remain disappointed; the most particular disappointment was with customer support. When an issue arose with my account, it took days to get a response, even then not very supportive, more like automated responses. Generally, the app is pretty user-friendly, but when some problems appeared and didn't have quick assistance, it frustrated me. I also had some trouble with this feature called Smart Savings that pulls money out unexpectedly, without notification. What I would say is, Albert definitely needs to do better regarding customer service and communicating their features. You can't rely on an app for your finances when the support is not consistent. For now, I'll switch over to another budgeting tool that offers at least more responsive customer service.

Glitchy + support unresponsive
First of all, I liked working with Albert's budgeting features. However, some technical problems appeared pretty soon and spoiled everything. This app freezes or lags all the time, and sometimes it is simply impossible to work with. Unfortunately, customer support didn't really help. Finally, after some time, I reported those issues and got a response well past due that didn't solve anything-they asked me to reinstall the application, which I did, but nothing changed; the glitches remained. The Smart Savings feature also felt unpredictable; it sometimes saved amounts that were inconvenient for my budgeting. For an app that manages personal finances, reliability and fast support are extremely important, and Albert hasn't delivered on either. That's really a shame, since the concept is good, but without technical improvements, it doesn't feel dependable. I?d love to see updates that fix these bugs and a faster response time from support before recommending it.

Unauthorized Deductions
I have had a very frustrating experience with Albert in terms of unauthorized deductions. I enabled Smart Savings, thinking and hoping that small, manageable sums were going to be saved. What was happening was, without my warning, unexpected amounts were being deducted, thus disrupting my budgeting. Contacting the support is frustratingly not different; the responses are slow and generic without offering a real solution. Eventually, I had to turn off Smart Savings entirely, which defeated the purpose of having a savings application in the first place. I think Albert should grant the user more power over the amount it deducts and also very straightforward notifications. For anyone who relies on consistent budgeting, this may not be your app. It's unsettling when an application handling money for you is not clear about how it does so. Albert could be a quite decent tool if the company had strong emphases on both transparency and responsive customer support.

Very few options to customize
I wanted Albert to help me manage my finances more closely, but the product is sadly lacking in customization toward what I need. For example, the categories available for budgeting seem very limited, and I would like to set these more according to where I do tend to spend my money. Smart Savings does sound good, at least in theory, but being able to adjust neither the amount nor the frequency with which it saves is just restrictive. Upon reaching out to this customer support regarding these, it came back insignificantly late and useless. Also, many times I found the app layout confusing and frustrating to use because some of the key features are unreachable. Albert might be functional for those whose needs in budgeting are very basic; otherwise, for tailor-made solutions, this is not a very perfect solution. Hopefully, in future updates, Albert will incorporate more personalization options; support can also be improved to reduce the time it takes to respond to queries.

Surprising Charges and Lack of Transparency
Using Albert has been a mixed experience; mainly, there are these unforeseen charges for which I was never told. That is supposed to be how Smart Savings on the app saves small sums of money automatically, but it pulled out funds that at that time weren't convenient. I couldn't find a way to regulate such withdrawals, and hence it was difficult to operate within my budget. Support is very slow, with canned solutions that do not actually help solve the problem. It is a little unsettling to be using a financial app that isn't transparently open over such a key area. I think Albert could be improved by offering the user more personal control over their finances within the app itself, most especially around Smart Savings. All in all, I would never recommend this app to anyone looking for predictable, reliable financial assistance.

Great for Budget Tracking
I find Albert very helpful in tracking my spending and savings.
