Fast, clear, reliable
SelfStorage.com was awesome. It helped me find a good size unit for a decent price. The facility had great reviews and the website didn?t hide anything. All the details were up front. I was able to book without any back-and-forth. I even called the storage place afterward and they already had my reservation in their system. It was nice to deal with a service that actually works and doesn?t feel scammy or confusing. For anyone looking for a quick and easy way to book storage, this is the way to go. I?d absolutely use it again.

Didn?t hold my reservation
Made the reservation, got confirmation, then showed up and was told the unit was given to someone else. The storage place said they don?t hold online bookings.

Solid option for booking
I didn?t even know sites like this existed but it helped a ton. Found a unit within my budget and didn?t have to make a bunch of calls. Took off one star just because the facility's hours weren?t listed clearly. Otherwise great experience.

Hours listed were wrong
Chose a place because it said 24-hour access, but I got there and it was locked. Their gate closes at 9 p.m. Totally ruined my moving plans.

Everything in one place
I don?t usually write reviews, but I had such a good experience I figured I should. I needed a storage unit while I traveled abroad and this website helped a ton. Photos were misleading

No support when needed

Simple site, works great
Honestly, this website did everything I hoped it would. I was able to find and book a storage unit without talking to anyone or digging around the web. The search filters helped a lot. I liked that it gave options at different price points, too. The only reason I?m not giving 5 stars is I wish there were more photos of the units. But other than that, no complaints. The process was smooth, fast, and totally online. Got my confirmation and was able to move in the next day. Worked out really well for what I needed.

Best way to book storage

Not enough details
I like the idea of comparing storage units online, but SelfStorage.com just didn?t give me all the info I needed. The listing didn?t include details about whether the unit was drive-up accessible, or whether there was elevator access for upstairs units. These things matter when you?re storing furniture or heavy boxes. I booked anyway and hoped for the best, but when I got there, it turned out I had to carry everything up stairs?no elevator. If I had known that, I would?ve picked a different location. The website looks professional, but it?s missing a lot of the real-world info you need to make the best choice. It?s frustrating that I had to find out after arriving. I?d use it again maybe just to browse, but I wouldn?t rely on the info to be 100% accurate. You still need to call the facility to double-check everything, which kind of defeats the purpose.

No-show reservation
I showed up at the storage location after reserving online, only to find out the office was closed and there was no way to access the unit. The hours on SelfStorage.com were completely wrong. I ended up waiting for an hour, trying to call, but got no response. The whole reason I reserved online was to avoid issues like this. I ended up wasting most of my afternoon and still didn?t get to move anything in. I reached out to customer service but only got a generic reply saying they?d ?look into it.? That didn?t help me at all in the moment. If they?re going to list business hours and allow online reservations, those details need to be accurate. This experience cost me time, gas, and energy, and I still had to find another unit the next day. Really frustrating overall.

Love how easy it was
SelfStorage.com was a lifesaver. I didn?t have a lot of time to search and I needed a place to keep my stuff for a month.
