Disappointing Delays
Placid did not go as easy as I'd wanted. The transfer took much longer than it ought to take, and when I reached the customer services, I could not get clear answers. They said that it was being taken care of, but the whole delay caused a lot of distress to my family. The rates are good, but the service did not do what I wanted because of its delay. This service charges reasonably competitive rates, but I'm not sure I would ever use the company again with how unpredictable the timing is. It's frustrating not to receive any defined set of updates and how the customer service could much be more proactive in solving their problems.

My transfer with Placid took longer than I expected. The rates were good, but the time it took for the recipient to get his money was frustrating. Customer service was helpful, but if possible, faster service would be appreciated. It made it less convenient than other transfer options. Maybe I will try it again in a better time frame.

Customer support response times were too slow; it took a long time to get help when there was a problem. It caused a lot of stress waiting for transfer. The transfer, however, got done finally. If Placid supports its service with good improvement in support, then the service will be reliable, and I will consider other options the next time.

Disappointed by the Service
I was very disappointed with my experience from Placid. The transaction took too long in silence, and trying to get into the customer service was frustratingly very hard. When it finally connected me, I found very little help there. Rates are fine, but on time and customer service, a company must greatly improve. Based on these facts, I don't feel like risking them again at Placid.

Untimely Delays
I had Placid for the very first time and expected smooth procedure, but it was otherwise untimely delays. More than a week was taken by my transaction for reaching its destination, which is not satisfactory. Second, customer care did not respond promptly. This experience had made me shudder to use Placid once more since I am dependent totally on timely transactions for my family's livelihood.

Bad Experience with Customer Service
My transfer was delayed, and getting in contact with customer service was a problem. I contacted several times, and responses were slow and not helpful at all. Although my money eventually arrived, it wasn't all that smooth. I do believe Placid could better customer service and the reliability of a transfer. Next time, I'll look elsewhere.

Timing Not Reliable
I am not happy with the experience Placid has given me. My transfer was severely delayed and did not have active communication to let me know where the problem was. It took too long for them to get back to me when I called them. Their promise of quick transfers was totally misleading, as my experience went the other way. I wish there was a better company out there.

Erratic Service
I have utilized Placid several times and their service has been hit-or-miss. At some times, the transfer is quite rapid while others drag on interminably with no communication about what is happening. Customer support is adequate but not very proactive in keeping users informed of what is happening regarding problems. The rates are competitive but the reliability needs to be worked on. I will use it from time to time but always with circumspection.

Delayed Transfer
The bad about the transfer was that it took longer than I wished. I would have desired a quick transfer, but there was a delay, and hence communication from the customer service wasn't really prompt. Good rates; however, it's pretty stress-prone as you never know in advance when it's going to be done. I will find better alternatives for later transfers.

Support from Placid can be much improved. I did have an issue with my transfer, and I waited a long time to get any response to it. In the end, everything worked out okay, but I left frustrated during the delay. I would appreciate greater responsiveness if I needed to use them again; waiting on answers was inconvenient.

Frustrating Delays
I was expecting much from Placid, but the delay in transferring me was very disappointing. The updating processes are too long and annoying. On the positive side, the customer service replied, but not immediately as I had expected. It's an average service if you can wait; however, it could be better.

Long Processing Time

Much longer than I had anticipated
The transfer takes Placid much longer to effect than advertised. To take several days without sending out updates is very upsetting. Customer service is polite and nice but not very informative. If timely service is not important then you might be able to work with it, however I need something that can offer quicker service in the future.

Poor Clarification on Delay End
My transfer took longer than expected and had not been delivered. Additionally, there is no indication of what caused this to happen. I called, and customer care didn't really seem to provide much of an explanation for why the delay. Prices are reasonable enough, but on timing, communication has been scarce; hopefully, they correct this in the future.

Not the Fastest
Placid's rates are good, the speed of transaction was disappointing. My transfer was postponed and I required support and it took the time more than I'd want. The rest would use it only in case when it wasn't a matter of timing. A little more speed would make this service much more reliable.

Subpar Customer Service
I require support with my transaction, and customer care is hard to get hold of and slow in solving the problems. My money was released, but the support experience has been unsatisfactory. Lack of Consistency
I have used Placid a few times. The wait times are completely inconsistent. Sometimes orders move quickly through, and other times, I have experienced some nasty delays with no communication about why. In general, it's a good service, but not good enough to rely on with such inconsistent waits. If I am to use the service again, I hope the wait is made more consistent.

Disappointing Wait Times
Waiting is very frustrating with Placid. My last transfer took much longer than it was supposed to, so the answers of customer support also were slow. It is competitive, but delay makes less convenient. If they will improve their processing time, then they will make the service much more perfect.
