Average Brewery

Huss Brewing was neither amazing nor terrible. The Scottsdale Blonde was refreshing, but the other beers I tried felt one-note. Food was basic and nothing memorable. The atmosphere leaned more chaotic than comfortable. If you?re nearby, it?s fine, but I wouldn?t go out of my way.

Excellent Beer Selection

Huss Brewing impressed me with their diverse beer menu. From light lagers to bold stouts, they offer something for everyone. I enjoyed the Scottsdale Blonde, but the Hussler Milk Stout was the star of the evening for me. Rich, smooth, and satisfying. The staff were professional and friendly, making sure our group was taken care of. The environment is lively but comfortable, and the food complemented the drinks nicely. Definitely one of the best breweries in the Phoenix area.

Won?t Be Back

Tried Huss Brewing for the first time and wasn?t impressed. Beer lacked depth, and food was bland. The space was cramped and way too noisy, making it hard to enjoy. Staff were doing their best, but it wasn?t enough to save the experience. I won?t return.

img 3/5.0 24, Aug 2025

Not Worth the Hype

I expected more from Huss Brewing after hearing so much about it. The beer was decent but forgettable, and the food didn?t impress. The atmosphere was overly loud, and service seemed stretched thin. It wasn?t terrible, but definitely not worth all the hype it gets.

img 4/5.0 21, Aug 2025

Good Spot With Lots of Options

Huss Brewing had a ton of options to choose from, and I appreciated the chance to try different styles in a flight. The Raspberry Wheat was a standout, light and slightly fruity. Food was fine, mostly standard pub fare, but worked well with the beer. Staff were attentive, and the service was consistent. The place can get a little noisy during peak hours, but that didn?t take away from the overall experience. Definitely worth a visit.

img 2/5.0 14, Aug 2025

Could Be Better

Huss Brewing has potential, but it didn?t deliver. The IPA I tried was unbalanced, and food felt like an afterthought. The space was crowded and noisy, making it hard to relax. With so many other great breweries around, this one didn?t stand out for me.

img 5/5.0 04, Aug 2025

Always a Pleasure to Visit

Huss Brewing has become a regular spot for me because of the consistent quality. The beer flights give you the chance to explore new flavors, and I especially liked the Raspberry Wheat and the CenPho IPA. The food menu isn?t huge but covers the basics well, with fresh and flavorful options. Service is always kind and attentive, and the atmosphere feels both relaxed and upbeat. Whether I?m there with friends or on my own, it always feels welcoming.

Fun Place With Tasty Options

Huss Brewing offers a great mix of traditional and creative beers. The Scottsdale Blonde is light and crisp, while the Juicy Juicy IPA brings bold, hoppy flavors. We ordered nachos and wings, which were tasty and easy to share. Service was efficient, even though the place was packed. The energy is upbeat and social, making it a fun stop for groups. It can get a bit loud at times, but that just speaks to how popular this brewery has become.

Great Beer, Great People

Every time I visit Huss Brewing, I leave happy. The servers are genuinely enthusiastic about their beers, which adds a lot to the experience. I tried the Copper State Ale and Hussler Stout, both of which were rich in flavor and easy to enjoy. Food was satisfying, especially for a brewery menu. What stood out most was the welcoming environment. The place has a strong community feel and never feels pretentious, which is exactly what I want in a local brewery.

Great Beer and Great Atmosphere

Visiting Huss Brewing was such a positive experience. The Scottsdale Blonde was crisp and refreshing, while the CenPho IPA offered a nice hoppy balance. Food came out quickly, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. The atmosphere felt lively and energetic without being overwhelming, making it easy to enjoy conversation over drinks. I liked the mix of locals and visitors, which gave it a welcoming vibe. A great spot I?ll definitely be back to.

A Standout Brewery in Phoenix

Huss Brewing is hands down one of my favorite breweries in Arizona. The Scottsdale Blonde is refreshing and reliable, but I?ve also come to love their more adventurous creations like the Kumquat Kolsch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to explain the flavors behind each beer. The food is solid, especially the appetizers, which pair perfectly with a flight. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, making it a great spot to relax after work or enjoy with friends.

Wonderful Experience

Huss Brewing provided a wonderful experience from start to finish. The beers were flavorful and creative, with plenty of options for different tastes. Service was excellent, and the staff were helpful in guiding us through the menu. Food was enjoyable, though simple. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming throughout.

img 4/5.0 19, Jun 2025

Great Drinks, Limited Menu

The drinks were fantastic, with a wide variety to choose from. The Scottsdale Blonde was refreshing, and the CenPho IPA had a great balance. The menu was a bit limited, but what we had was fine. Staff were pleasant and approachable. Good for drinks, but don?t expect a gourmet menu.

img 5/5.0 11, Jun 2025

Excellent Brewery Stop

Stopped by Huss Brewing while visiting Phoenix, and I was glad I did. The beer was outstanding, with a nice mix of hoppy and smooth options. Staff were attentive and made sure we felt welcome. Food was simple but tasty. A great place to grab a few pints.

img 4/5.0 01, Jun 2025

Good Experience Overall

Huss Brewing offered a good experience overall. The food wasn?t spectacular but was decent enough, and the beer selection more than made up for it. We enjoyed trying a few styles in a flight, and the staff were patient and knowledgeable. A fun and easy-going place to spend an evening.

img 5/5.0 31, May 2025

Fantastic Local Spot

Huss Brewing is everything I look for in a local brewery. They have an excellent mix of flagship beers like the Scottsdale Blonde and fun seasonals that keep things fresh. The staff are approachable and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is upbeat without being too chaotic. Food is reliable, and everything pairs well with the drinks. The patio is especially nice in the evenings. Overall, it?s one of those places that makes you proud of your local beer scene.

img 5/5.0 24, May 2025

Local Favorite Done Right

Huss Brewing does a great job balancing approachable beers with creative twists. Scottsdale Blonde is a classic, but their other offerings keep it exciting. The servers were helpful, making recommendations for what to try. The environment was lively but not chaotic, making it a solid choice for both locals and visitors.

img 4/5.0 14, May 2025

Fun Spot for Casual Nights

Huss Brewing has a fun, casual vibe perfect for a relaxed night out. We tried a few unique beers like the Raspberry Wheat, which was refreshing. Food was fine, though nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a few drinks with friends.

img 3/5.0 03, May 2025

Good Beer, So-So Food

The Copper State IPA was flavorful, but the nachos we ordered weren?t great. Chips were stale, and toppings didn?t feel fresh. Drinks saved the night, but food definitely fell behind. It?s a place I?d go for beer only, not dinner.

img 2/5.0 25, Apr 2025

Limited Menu Choices

The beer list is diverse, but the food menu feels limited. I expected more unique dishes to complement the creativity of the drinks. The options available were pretty standard bar food, and while okay, they didn?t leave much of a lasting impression.

img 3/5.0 21, Apr 2025

Service Needs Work

The beer selection was decent, but service really dragged down the experience. Our server seemed distracted and forgot parts of our order. Food took longer than expected and wasn?t hot when it arrived. For the price, I expected better attention to detail from both kitchen and staff.

img 3/5.0 15, Apr 2025

Atmosphere Too Rowdy

Huss Brewing seems great for groups that like a party vibe, but it wasn?t the right fit for me. The taproom was noisy, crowded, and chaotic. Beer flights were tasty, but it?s not the relaxing brewery stop I was hoping for.

img 5/5.0 06, Apr 2025

Memorable Beers, Nice Service

I was impressed with the variety of beers available. The staff made sure to explain each one in the flight, which added to the experience. Scottsdale Blonde is still the standout, but the seasonals were memorable too. Food was decent, but it?s the beer that makes the visit worth it.

img 4/5.0 27, Mar 2025

Busy But Worth It

The taproom was busy, but staff still managed to keep up with service. We had to wait a little for food, but the beer flight made it worthwhile. Each brew was unique and tasty. The energy was fun, making it a worthwhile place for a Friday night out.

img 5/5.0 18, Mar 2025

Solid Local Brewery Choice

Huss Brewing is consistently a solid choice. Their beers are flavorful, with something for everyone, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs. Staff are friendly, and the service is smooth. Food isn?t extraordinary, but it?s fine for a brewery setting. A reliable go-to spot for beer lovers in Phoenix.

img 2/5.0 11, Mar 2025

Not My Style

I wanted to like Huss Brewing, but it wasn?t for me. The IPA I tried was overly bitter, and the food didn?t make up for it. The loud music and crowded space made it worse. Maybe others enjoy it, but I won?t be returning anytime soon.

img 4/5.0 08, Mar 2025

Great Patio for Evenings

The patio is a great spot to enjoy Huss Brewing. We had a flight with Scottsdale Blonde, Hussler Milk Stout, and CenPho IPA, all of which were solid. Food was average, but service was attentive, and the overall vibe was fun. Perfect place to enjoy Arizona evenings.

img 5/5.0 28, Feb 2025

Always a Pleasant Visit

Every visit to Huss has been positive. The space is lively but not overwhelming, and the staff always treat guests well. Scottsdale Blonde remains a personal favorite, but I also enjoy their sours and limited editions. Food is fine for pairing, but the beers make the whole experience worthwhile.

img 4/5.0 17, Feb 2025

Creative Beer Options

The Huss team does a great job with creative brews. I tried the Kumquat Kolsch, which was light and different from what I normally drink. The staff were engaging and offered helpful recommendations. Food was okay, though the drinks clearly steal the show here. Perfect spot for adventurous beer lovers.

img 5/5.0 08, Feb 2025

Great Beer and Quick Service

Huss Brewing didn?t disappoint. I had the Copper State Ale, which was smooth and balanced, while my friend enjoyed the Juicy Juicy IPA. Service was quicker than expected for a busy evening, and the servers were knowledgeable. A reliable brewery that does everything well without overcomplicating the experience.

img 4/5.0 31, Jan 2025

Good Vibes with Friends

We stopped in with a few friends, and the vibe was perfect for catching up. We tried a sampler, and each beer had something interesting to offer. The food was standard bar fare but worked well for sharing. Overall, a fun place to relax with good drinks and good company.

img 3/5.0 29, Jan 2025

Just Okay

The beer was alright, but not something I?d go out of my way for again. The environment felt more like a crowded bar than a brewery. Food was edible but bland. Staff did their best, but overall it felt like an average, forgettable experience.

img 5/5.0 20, Jan 2025

Fantastic Local Brewery Visit

My visit to Huss Brewing exceeded expectations. The beer was flavorful and well-made, and the staff made the experience better with their helpful, easygoing attitude. The taproom was clean, inviting, and not overly loud. Food was decent, but the beer quality is what will keep me coming back again.

img 4/5.0 11, Jan 2025

Friendly Place, Great Drinks

I enjoyed the friendly vibe of Huss Brewing. The Scottsdale Blonde was light and refreshing, and the Hussler Stout had a richness that made it a good nightcap. The servers were approachable and helpful. The food menu is simple, but it?s enough to complement the beers nicely without overcomplicating the experience.

img 3/5.0 02, Jan 2025

Just Okay Overall

Nothing about the visit stood out. The beer was fine, the food acceptable, but nothing wowed me. For a brewery with a strong local reputation, I expected more. It wasn?t bad, just an average experience that didn?t live up to the hype.

img 2/5.0 22, Dec 2024

Overwhelmed on Busy Night

On a Saturday night, the servers seemed overwhelmed and orders were delayed. Drinks eventually came out right, but food was cold. It didn?t feel like they were prepared for the rush. Good beer doesn?t entirely make up for a frustrating dining experience.

img 4/5.0 19, Dec 2024

Solid Brewery With Variety

Huss Brewing is a great stop for anyone looking for variety. I tried a flight that included a lager, IPA, and stout, and all were high-quality. The Scottsdale Blonde stood out as a refreshing option. Food was decent, though clearly more of an accompaniment than a focus. Service was reliable, and the overall atmosphere was casual and friendly. It?s a solid spot to grab drinks with friends or unwind after a long day.

img 3/5.0 13, Dec 2024

Service Felt Detached

Staff weren?t rude, but they also weren?t engaging. Everything felt transactional with little effort to connect. While the beers were enjoyable, the lack of warmth in service made it feel less inviting than other breweries I?ve been to in Arizona.

img 5/5.0 04, Dec 2024

Impressive Rotating Selections

Huss Brewing impressed me with its rotating beer list. Seasonal options like a citrusy sour kept things interesting. The Scottsdale Blonde is always a reliable choice, but I loved exploring the unique one-offs. The staff are enthusiastic and seem passionate about beer. It?s a place that balances tradition and creativity very well.

img 4/5.0 25, Nov 2024

Solid Service and Good Beer

Our experience was positive overall. The servers were attentive, making sure our table had everything we needed. The beer flight gave us a range of flavors, from light lagers to bold IPAs. The food was good, not outstanding, but perfectly fine for pairing. Comfortable and reliable for a night out.

img 5/5.0 15, Nov 2024

Excellent Local Brewery

Huss is one of my favorite local breweries. Their lineup is creative without being gimmicky, and the Scottsdale Blonde remains one of the best beers in the state. The staff is always welcoming, and the taproom feels clean and inviting. It?s easy to see why they?ve become a staple in Arizona craft brewing.

img 2/5.0 09, Nov 2024

Underwhelming Visit

I had high hopes for Huss Brewing, but it didn?t live up to the hype. Beer options were fine, but nothing stood out. Food was mediocre at best, and the atmosphere was chaotic. Staff seemed overwhelmed, which made the whole visit feel stressful rather than fun.

img 4/5.0 03, Nov 2024

Relaxed Spot for Beer Lovers

Huss Brewing offered a relaxed, comfortable setting. I enjoyed the Raspberry Wheat and Scottsdale Blonde, both crisp and smooth. Service was attentive and patient even as we asked questions about the menu. Food was decent, nothing too fancy, but worked well alongside the drinks. Great for casual nights out.

img 5/5.0 27, Oct 2024

Flavorful Variety of Beers

I was impressed with the creative flavors at Huss Brewing. The Kumquat Kolsch was refreshing and unique, while the Double ?Nix IPA had depth. The staff helped with recommendations, which made trying new styles easy. Food was enjoyable, but the standout here is definitely the carefully crafted, flavorful beer.

img 4/5.0 16, Oct 2024

Good Place for Groups

We brought a group of friends, and everyone found something they liked. From stouts to lagers, Huss had a wide range of styles. The food was satisfying, though clearly designed to complement the beer rather than stand out on its own. Service was smooth considering the crowd, making it a good group outing.

img 5/5.0 04, Oct 2024

Consistently Delicious Brews

I?ve been to Huss a few times, and their consistency is what I love. Scottsdale Blonde is a go-to, but I also enjoyed trying their creative small-batch sours. The taproom has a friendly vibe, and the servers are knowledgeable. It?s the kind of place that makes you want to come back often.

img 3/5.0 30, Sep 2024

Decent Beer, Weak Food

The Scottsdale Blonde was enjoyable, but the food menu was a letdown. Small portions and average taste. For a brewery, I expected better pairings with their drinks. Service was polite, but overall it didn?t feel worth the price we paid for the full experience.

img 4/5.0 26, Sep 2024

Nice Patio and Great Beers

The patio seating at Huss Brewing is really enjoyable, especially during cooler evenings. We sampled the Cactus Valley Red Ale and were impressed with the flavor. Food was decent, though the beer is the real star here. Service was consistent, and the whole place had a laid-back, neighborhood feel.

img 5/5.0 14, Sep 2024

Always Reliable for Quality

Huss Brewing is one of those places that always feels reliable. The Scottsdale Blonde and CenPho IPA never disappoint, and the rotating seasonals keep things interesting. Service is friendly, and the staff seem genuinely proud of their beers. It?s a solid brewery whether you?re looking for a casual lunch or drinks after work.

img 4/5.0 06, Sep 2024

Fun Atmosphere, Good Selection

I appreciated how many options they had for different palates. I tried a flight including the Hussler Milk Stout and Raspberry Wheat, both of which were smooth and flavorful. Service was steady, and the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming. A good choice if you?re looking for variety in both beer and food.

img 5/5.0 27, Aug 2024

Great Mix of Food and Beer

Huss Brewing nails the balance between tasty food and quality beer. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly, and the Scottsdale Blonde paired beautifully with the meal. Staff moved quickly even during a busy dinner rush. The space was casual and fun, making it a great place to gather with friends after work.

img 2/5.0 20, Aug 2024

Loud and Overcrowded

The beer was fine, but the place was packed and unbearably loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation, and service felt rushed. I expected a more relaxed brewery vibe but left disappointed. Not terrible, but not somewhere I?d go again on a busy evening.

img 4/5.0 16, Aug 2024

Tasty Beer and Good Vibes

We stopped by Huss after work and had a wonderful time. The Juicy Juicy IPA stood out, while the Copper State Ale paired well with appetizers. The staff were quick and polite, and seating was comfortable inside. A bit crowded but worth the wait for the beer quality and the lively, social vibe.

img 5/5.0 08, Aug 2024

Excellent Taproom Experience

Huss Brewing has such a welcoming atmosphere. The Scottsdale Blonde was crisp and refreshing, and the IPA flight had variety without being overwhelming. Food was reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Staff were attentive without hovering, and the patio gave us space to relax. A well-rounded brewery that offers both good drinks and a comfortable place to enjoy them.

img 2/5.0 30, Jul 2024

Value Didn?t Add Up

The prices felt too high compared to portion sizes and overall food quality. Drinks were good, but I left feeling like I didn?t get my money?s worth. With so many local breweries to choose from, that?s a tough point to overlook.

img 3/5.0 21, Jul 2024

Inconsistent Experience

On one visit the food was hot and service quick; the next time, both were lacking. The beer is consistent and flavorful, but the operations aren?t. That kind of inconsistency makes it tough to know what you?ll get each time you stop by.

img 5/5.0 10, Jul 2024

One of My Favorite Breweries

Huss Brewing has become a favorite for me because it combines everything I want in a brewery: great beer, approachable staff, and a fun setting. The Scottsdale Blonde is always excellent, and the Hussler Milk Stout is rich and satisfying. Food was flavorful and complemented the beer perfectly. The staff made helpful suggestions when I wasn?t sure what to order. The whole experience feels thoughtful and genuine. Definitely one of the best breweries I?ve visited in Phoenix.

img 2/5.0 09, Jul 2024

Messy Tables, Slow Cleanup

Several tables around us were left dirty for long stretches, which gave the space a messy feel. Staff seemed busy, but it left a bad impression. The drinks were good, but cleanliness should be more of a priority in a brewery setting.

img 4/5.0 01, Jul 2024

Inventive Beers, Friendly Space

Creatively flavored beers and a comfortable setting made the visit memorable. Staff were easygoing and engaging. A great mix of craft and community.

img 4/5.0 22, Jun 2024

Neighborhood Brewery Hit

Brewery felt like a neighborhood gem: friendly faces, good beer, thoughtful edible choices. Atmosphere leaned casual, but flavors stood out.

img 4/5.0 10, Jun 2024

Stylish Brews, Familiar Atmosphere

Beer list had stylish variety without being pretentious. Food complemented well. Cozy enough for a date night, casual enough for solo sip.

img 5/5.0 01, Jun 2024

Great Quality Across the Board

From the consistent core beers like Scottsdale Blonde to creative rotating options, everything tasted high-quality. The environment felt welcoming whether you?re there for food or just flights.

img 5/5.0 30, May 2024

Memorable Craft Beer Experience

Huss Brewing has really made a name for itself with craft beer in Arizona. The Scottsdale Blonde is consistently excellent, but I also enjoyed branching out into their more unique offerings like the Kumquat Kolsch. Staff were incredibly helpful and patient, even when the place was packed. Food was better than expected for a brewery, and everything came out quickly. The taproom had a lively, positive energy that made the evening especially memorable. A must-visit brewery.

img 2/5.0 23, May 2024

Service Needs Improvement

Even though the place wasn?t busy, it took a long time to get a server?s attention. Drinks eventually came, but it felt disorganized. The beers were nice, but the lack of consistent service makes it less appealing as a repeat spot.

img 3/5.0 14, May 2024

Portions Felt Small

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and while it tasted good, the portion was smaller than expected. For the price, I left still feeling hungry. The beer selection is creative, but the food just doesn?t feel like a strong reason to visit.

img 2/5.0 05, May 2024

Long Wait for Food

We waited nearly 35 minutes for appetizers, which came out lukewarm. The staff apologized, but it threw off our evening. The beer itself was great, but the kitchen delays really left a negative impression. It?s hard to enjoy when timing is off.

img 3/5.0 29, Apr 2024

Loud and Crowded

Huss Brewing has an energetic vibe, but it was difficult to relax with the noise level. Between the loud music and packed space, it wasn?t easy to enjoy conversation. The beers were solid, but the atmosphere didn?t suit what I was looking for.

img 4/5.0 20, Apr 2024

Good Beer, Fun Vibe

I enjoyed my evening at Huss Brewing. The Scottsdale Blonde was light and refreshing, and the CenPho IPA packed more punch. The food menu is limited but does the job, especially if you just want something to pair with drinks. The vibe is upbeat, and the crowd was friendly, making it easy to have a good time. The only downside is how busy it gets, but that?s also a sign of its popularity. Overall, a solid place to visit.

img 4/5.0 18, Apr 2024

Flavor-Driven Brews & Warm Vibe

Each beer tasted purposeful and flavorful, not generic. Staff were personable, the atmosphere cozy. A spot I?d suggest for relaxed local craft exploration.

img 4/5.0 06, Apr 2024

Easy-Going Taproom with Character

Taproom had charm without formality. The beer lineup was strong, and sampling originals like Cactus Valley Red Ale showed creativity. Great for casual evenings.

img 5/5.0 29, Mar 2024

Welcoming Brewery, Creative Menu

I was impressed by the guest service and inventive beer names like Juicy Juicy or Double ?Nix. The food, especially creative small bites, matched up well. Friendly, playful, and approachable.

img 4/5.0 15, Mar 2024

Reliable Brewpub Experience

Trusted location, consistent beer quality, and unfussy menu make Huss a reliable go-to. Always delivers, regardless of solo trip or group outing.

img 5/5.0 10, Mar 2024

Excellent Local Brewery Choice

Huss Brewing continues to impress me every time I go. The Scottsdale Blonde is one of Arizona?s best-known beers, and for good reason. It?s crisp, smooth, and easy to drink. Their IPAs and stouts also deliver strong, consistent flavors. Service is fast, even when it?s crowded, and the staff are always willing to help with suggestions. Food is straightforward and tasty. The vibe is comfortable and welcoming, making it a top choice for locals and visitors alike.

img 2/5.0 07, Mar 2024

Food Missed the Mark

While the craft beers were enjoyable, the food was underwhelming. My flatbread was soggy and lacked flavor, which felt disappointing for the price. The servers were polite, but overall the food just didn?t match the quality of the drinks.

img 3/5.0 25, Feb 2024

Beer Good, Service Slow

The Scottsdale Blonde was excellent, but the wait for service was frustrating. It felt like staff were stretched too thin, and our table kept being overlooked. The beer is worth it, but the experience didn?t flow as smoothly as I hoped.

img 3/5.0 16, Feb 2024

Average Experience, Nothing Special

After hearing hype about Huss Brewing, I expected more. The beer was decent but not groundbreaking compared to other Arizona breweries I?ve tried. The food was okay but overpriced, and the service was polite but detached. Nothing about the experience stood out in a memorable way. I wouldn?t call it bad, but it didn?t live up to the expectations that came from word-of-mouth. For casual drinks it works, but as a destination brewery, I don?t think it hits the mark.

img 3/5.0 11, Feb 2024

Overrated

Everyone talks about Huss Brewing, but honestly, I don?t see the hype. The beer was fine, but nothing mind-blowing. Food was average, and the wait time was long. Staff were nice, but the overall experience was just okay. Definitely felt more overrated than exceptional.

img 4/5.0 05, Feb 2024

Relaxed Visit with Great Flavor

Friendly staff welcomed us to the patio. Beer samples came fast and had clear, nuanced flavor. Portion sizes were decent, food wasn?t pretentious yet paired brilliantly.

img 2/5.0 30, Jan 2024

Food Was a Letdown

Beer was okay, but the food left a lot to be desired. Portions were small, overpriced, and not very tasty. For a brewery that talks about pairing food with drinks, I expected more effort. Service was fine, but the overall experience wasn?t worth it.

img 4/5.0 24, Jan 2024

Standout Beer Selection

Whether into sours or hoppy IPAs, the range at Huss hit the mark. Beer list was broad and flavorful; the trust invested in flavor quality shows. Solid atmosphere, too.

img 4/5.0 12, Jan 2024

Crisp Lager & Quiet Afternoon

Sipped a crisp Mexican lager and Alsopolitan IPA in a quiet moment. No rush, no crowd?just tasting the craft in a peaceful setting. A nice break from hustle.

img 4/5.0 03, Jan 2024

Inventive Pairings, Good Times

Between the inventive beer and smart snack pairings, each bite and sip felt considered. Friendly staff and a relaxed demeanor made the night enjoyable without fuss.

img 4/5.0 23, Dec 2023

Solid Brewery Near Convention Center

Found a clean, approachable taproom near downtown. Limited menu, but the beer variety made up for it. Perfect for grabbing a pint before heading back of-site.

img 3/5.0 21, Dec 2023

Too Busy to Enjoy

The space itself is nice, but it was just way too busy. Staff were clearly overwhelmed, and service was slow. Beer was decent, but the long wait and crowded environment made it hard to enjoy. Maybe better on a weekday when things are less hectic.

img 2/5.0 11, Dec 2023

Disorganized Service on Busy Nights

I went to Huss during a Saturday rush, and things just weren?t managed well. We were seated quickly, but then waited almost 15 minutes before anyone came by for drinks. The server seemed stretched too thin, and our orders came out staggered, making it awkward to eat together. I understand busy weekends, but it didn?t feel coordinated at all. The beer was good once it arrived, but the lack of structure in the service left me unimpressed overall.

img 3/5.0 02, Dec 2023

Limited Menu Options

The beer list at Huss is impressive, but the food menu felt small and uninspired. Other brewpubs I?ve been to have creative options that match the energy of the drinks, but here it was mostly standard bar food. My flatbread was okay but nothing memorable. It?s frustrating when the beer shows such creativity, but the food doesn?t follow through. The staff were friendly, and the space was decent, but I left thinking it wasn?t worth coming for the food again.

img 2/5.0 27, Nov 2023

Lacked Cleanliness and Order

While I don?t mind a casual brewery, I was surprised by how untidy the space looked when I visited. Several tables hadn?t been cleared for a long time, and the floor was sticky in areas. It gave off a careless impression, especially since there weren?t many staff visible. The beer still tasted good, but the environment matters when you?re sitting down for an hour or two. A little more attention to cleanliness would go a long way for returning guests.

img 4/5.0 15, Nov 2023

Laid-Back Afternoon with Great Brews

Spent a few peaceful hours sipping a range of IPAs and enjoying the relaxed patio. Vibe was chill, competitors in beer variety minimal. Made for a great solo unwind.

img 2/5.0 11, Nov 2023

Nothing Special

Honestly, Huss Brewing didn?t leave much of an impression. The beer was drinkable but average, and the food lacked flavor. The atmosphere was noisy, which made it hard to enjoy. Considering the hype, I walked away feeling underwhelmed. Plenty of better breweries around town.

img 4/5.0 06, Nov 2023

Friendly Service in a Cozy Brewery

Staff were welcoming and attentive even when busy. The combo of hearty sliders and artisan beers made it a casual but memorable meal. Rustic atmosphere added to the charm.

img 4/5.0 28, Oct 2023

Thoughtful Seasonal Brews

Appreciate how Huss rotates in creative seasonals along with solid staples like Scottsdale Blonde. Each sip had depth and personality. Even if only on tap briefly, these specials bring excitement and something new each visit.

img 5/5.0 21, Oct 2023

Friendly Staff and Great Beer

From the moment we walked in, Huss Brewing made us feel welcome. The staff genuinely enjoy what they do, and it shows in their service. The Scottsdale Blonde is still my favorite, but I also loved their Raspberry Wheat for something lighter and fruitier. The food was tasty and came out quickly, which was great considering how busy it was. The whole environment feels fun, inclusive, and easygoing. A brewery I?d gladly visit again and again.

Tasty Flatbread & Good Beer

The Fig/Prosciutto flatbread was superbly flavored and the Cuban sandwich was just right. Beer selection was thorough and service brisk. A dependable blend of comfort food and craft beer.

Quick Service, Great Beer

Went for dinner solo and found both food and service to be pleasantly prompt. Had fish and chips with the wide selection of beer, they paired nicely. Quiet, unpretentious, yet satisfying.

Rich Stout and Friendly Touches

Tried the Hussler Milk Stout and a flight of Kolsch-style beers, including Raspberry and Kumquat, creative and well-executed. The ambiance was welcoming, and the brewer?s pride in quality really shone through in taste and presentation.

Great Beer, Good Portions

Had a fun night with a pint of Copper State and a giant pretzel. Beer was excellent, food was generous. The vibe was relaxed and the service prompt. A solid brewery experience overall.

Quality Beer, Casual Setting

Huss Brewing is the kind of place you can stop by casually and still have a great time. The Copper State Ale was smooth and refreshing, while the Juicy Juicy IPA had plenty of hops without being too bitter. We ordered nachos and pretzels, which were decent bar snacks. The taproom was busy but handled well by the staff. It?s not fancy, but that?s part of the charm. A reliable brewery with good drinks.

Solid Beers in a Friendly Space

This laid-back spot pours solid beers and simple pub food. My fish tacos were fresh and crispy, and the beer choices were curated well. Not fancy, but highly enjoyable in a casual, friendly environment.

Flavorful Brews & Good Vibes

Enjoyed a casual afternoon sampling the local brews. The collection of styles, from sours to IPAs, was impressive in variety and taste. The staff were helpful, the vibe was chill. Definitely on my radar for repeat visits.

A Brewery Worth Returning To

Huss Brewing quickly became one of my favorite local spots. Their beer selection is broad enough to please any taste, and the Scottsdale Blonde remains a classic. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, which adds to the experience. Food was simple but well-prepared, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming. I like that they rotate in seasonal options so you can always try something new. Definitely worth returning for another round.

Reliable Local Brewery Favorite

Huss Brewing consistently delivers, great beers, thoughtful flavors, and a comfy ambiance. Whether coming alone or with friends, it's a reliable choice for locals or visitors looking for quality craft and simple good eats.

Hit-or-Miss Experience

I?ve been to Huss Brewing twice, and both visits felt inconsistent. The first time, the staff were attentive, and the food came out quickly. The second time, the service was slow, and my sandwich was missing ingredients listed on the menu. The beer itself is consistently good, but it feels like the taproom operations need more stability. I want to enjoy this as a regular spot, but the unpredictability makes it hard to recommend for anyone looking for a reliable outing.

Slow Kitchen, Long Waits

I went in with friends on a weekend evening, and while the beer was solid, the kitchen seemed completely overwhelmed. We waited nearly 40 minutes for a couple of appetizers, and when they arrived, they were lukewarm. The server apologized but offered no discount or solution. I get that busy nights can be tough, but the lack of preparation really showed. We ended up leaving sooner than planned because the delays made the night feel frustrating rather than enjoyable.

Overpriced Food Portions

Stopped by Huss Brewing for dinner and drinks. The beer flight was solid, and I enjoyed trying a couple new flavors, but the food was disappointing. The portions were noticeably small compared to the price. I left feeling like I hadn?t gotten a good value, especially compared to other local brewpubs. The staff were friendly, but that only goes so far when the food feels like an afterthought. The brewery is worth a quick drink, but not for a full meal.

Top-Notch Beer in Phoenix

Huss Brewing delivers excellent beer every time. The Scottsdale Blonde is the highlight, crisp and flavorful without being overpowering. I also enjoyed trying the Kumquat Kolsch, which was refreshing and unique. Staff members are welcoming and eager to help, which makes the experience even better. The food menu is limited but tasty, especially the wings. The taproom vibe is relaxed and fun, perfect for both newcomers and regulars. It?s easily one of the top breweries in Phoenix.

Cozy Patio, Creative Menu

Chilling out on the patio with a flight of experimental beers was delightful. The sausage board, Cajun Andouille, Portuguese Linguica, Cheddar Brat, was a hit. Pairing that with local brews made for a smart, culinary-craft balance.

Great Spot for Catching Up

Met friends here and enjoyed the blend of craft beers, especially the standout nachos and sidewinder fries. Quality brews and tasty bites in a relaxed pub setting. Worth the trip for the solid atmosphere and satisfying food.

Great for Groups and Gatherings

We visited Huss Brewing with a group of friends, and it was the perfect choice. The space was big enough to accommodate us comfortably, and everyone found a beer they liked. I had the CenPho IPA, which was bold and flavorful. Food came out a little slower than expected, but it was tasty once it arrived. The servers were patient and friendly, even with our large group. A great spot for casual get-togethers.

Epic Smash Burger & Friendly Staff

Loved everything about this visit, from the perfectly seasoned Smash burger and killer fries to the massive beer selection. The waiter and bartender were so on it, especially impressive considering our crowded party of ten. Glad we found this gem!

img 2/5.0 04, Jun 2023

Too Noisy for Comfort

This place has some creative beers, but the atmosphere was not enjoyable. The taproom was so loud I could barely hear the people at my own table. Music was blasting on top of the crowd noise, and it felt overwhelming rather than fun. The servers were doing their best, but the chaos made it hard for them to keep up with orders. Huss might be great for people who like a party vibe, but I was hoping for something more relaxed.

img 3/5.0 27, May 2023

Food Quality Didn?t Match the Beer

I had heard great things about Huss Brewing?s beer, and they lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the food didn?t. My flatbread came out lukewarm and a little soggy, and the side of fries was bland. With prices being higher than average, I expected a little more attention to food quality. The staff was polite, but I left feeling like the kitchen wasn?t as strong as the brewery itself. It?s hard to enjoy a full night when the food falls short.

Service Fell Short Despite Good Beer

I enjoy craft beer and was excited to visit Huss Brewing, but the service really let the experience down. It took nearly 20 minutes to get acknowledged at the bar, and when I finally ordered, the server seemed uninterested and rushed. The beer itself was flavorful, and I particularly liked the Scottsdale Blonde, but the lack of attentiveness from staff overshadowed the visit. For a brewery known for its reputation, I expected a friendlier, more organized atmosphere.

Amazing Brewery Experience

I can?t say enough good things about Huss Brewing. Their Scottsdale Blonde is one of my favorite beers of all time, but I also appreciate their experimental batches that keep things interesting. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and they make good recommendations. Food is reliable and pairs well with the drinks, even if it isn?t the main attraction. The brewery itself is clean, lively, and welcoming. It feels like a staple in Arizona?s craft beer scene.

Fun Evening with Stellar Beers

Had dinner downtown and wandered into Huss Brewing. The fish and chips were crispy and satisfying, paired nicely with local IPAs. Service kicked in quickly once they caught up. A clean, inviting spot to enjoy a casual meal and cold beer.

Family-Friendly Brewery Hidden Gem

Tucked in a Tempe industrial area, the brewery has a laid-back, family-friendly feel. Sampling a flight showcased flavors like Scottsdale Blonde and Hussler Milk Stout, both impressively smooth. The decor was simple, the staff welcoming, and their commitment to quality really stood out.

img 2/5.0 19, Apr 2023

Disappointing Experience

I left feeling disappointed. Beer was drinkable but not special, and the food menu was small and overpriced. The environment was loud, and seating felt cramped. Staff were polite, but the whole experience didn?t measure up to the reputation. Definitely not the brewery I was hoping for.

Outstanding Beer & Service

Stopped by on a Friday evening, snagged a spot on the patio. The flight of unique brews, Raspberry Wheat, CenPho IPA, was a highlight. Food portions were modest but satisfying with creative combos. Great atmosphere, and already looking forward to the beer slushies next time!

img 4/5.0 11, Apr 2023

Relaxed Atmosphere, Quality Beers

I liked how approachable Huss Brewing felt compared to some other breweries. There?s no pressure, just a laid-back environment where you can enjoy a good beer. I tried the Copper State Ale, which had a smooth, balanced taste, and shared some fries that came out hot and crispy. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, which made it easy to relax. It was a little crowded, but that didn?t take away from the overall positive vibe. Worth visiting again.

Cozy Taproom, Great Brews

Visited the Uptown Phoenix taproom and found a warm, relaxed vibe with friendly staff. The freshly crafted beers are flavorful and well balanced. Loved the food pairings, especially the sausage board that felt local and inventive. A pleasant, easy-going place to unwind over a pint.
