Good, but give it a few updates
I?ve been using Ambrook for just over six months. The structure is great, and the product clearly caters to farmers. But a few updates would make it perfect?like adding livestock weight tracking or crop yield logging. Even with those missing features, it still beats what I had before in terms of visibility. Replaced Excel and QuickBooks with confidence

Excellent for multigenerational farms

A great addition to our ag toolkit
We integrated Ambrook into our operation in January and saw results almost immediately. Powerful platform for modern producers
Ambrook gives our team better visibility into financials than we?ve ever had. We use it for grain and custom work, so separating those incomes is key. Tagging expenses is easy. I did notice the bank connection can sometimes pause, but it?s usually resolved within a few hours. I like the simple design and love the reporting views. The budget tracking even helped convince our lender to increase our line of credit since we could show real?time expenses. Also, invoice generation has sped up customer payments. Small thing: wish the mobile version had offline mode. Still, extremely helpful.

Farm bookkeeping doesn?t have to be a mess
Switching to Ambrook has been one of the best admin decisions we?ve made. It?s not just a recordkeeping tool?it?s a financial planning asset. Being able to create digital budgets per enterprise and monitor those budgets in real time helped us avoid overspending during planting. The receipt scanner recognizes handwritten feed store notes, which blew me away. Also, their funding tracker helped us categorize USDA reimbursements properly. There were small UI issues on Android, but they fixed them in an update. Also love that we can set permissions for farm staff with limited access. Our operation feels more organized now.

Ambrook understands ag finances

Good tools, but bank sync irregular
Interface clean and ag?focused bookkeeping is great. But bank sync is erratic?sometimes refreshes in minutes, other times stalls for days. Triggers manual import. Analytics and budgeting helpful. Mobile receipt capture sometimes duplicates entries. That being said, support is responsive and proactive. They ask questions rather than canned answers. Dashboard makes enterprise tracking easy. Once sync is fixed it'll be impressive. For now, it?s a solid supplement to spreadsheets or backup bookkeeping.

Tax prep feature ok but buggy
Tax prep and reporting tools are helpful but glitchy. I tried preparing Schedule F forms and some categories duplicated. Required manual correction before export. That eats time and trust. Also, when tracking reimbursements for USDA grants, totals didn?t match invoices until I reentered them. Support noted a fix is in testing. The UI is nice, tagging is smart, and analytics feel future?ready. If those bugs get resolved, this could become staple. But right now can't fully rely for tax season or grant tracking.

Agreed needs mature mobile UI
Love the concept: ag-first, Schedule F ready, funding tracking. But mobile app feels unfinished. Buttons overlap on Android Pixel. Receipt scanner misaligns. Twice lost edits. Push notifications often delayed. The desktop web version is solid and analytics are strong. Still, mobile is essential when working fields. Also, reporting labels didn?t match my accountant?s version, causing confusion. The US?based support was helpful but admitted mobile team is smaller. Hopefully refocus soon, because the idea shines, but execution needs polish.

Unexpected glitches mid?season
Eight months into full?time farm use when the app crashed during uploading a vendor invoice. Lost notes I?d made. Repeated it a couple days later, even after updating app. Had to redo entries manually. The inconsistency makes one wary of relying on it for critical billing tasks. Also, mobile app sometimes times out without warning. Customer service was friendly but repeated problems make that less comforting. Budgeting features are decent, yet overall reliability needs major work. Until scanner and sync hold steady, I?ll keep paper backups.

Sync issues frustrate sometimes
Have been using Ambrook for six months. Generally it does well auto?syncing bank feeds, but twice it missed entire weeks. Had to manually import. That got stressful around bill?pay deadlines. Also, mobile receipt scanner misreads handwritten entries often, so each requires manual cleanup. Support usually responds within hours, which is good, but fixes don?t always stick?repeat errors happen. Wish AI receipt accuracy would improve. Dashboard analytics are helpful though. It feels modern, and tax reporting is solid. But those recurring sync errors and scanner misreads reduce trust. For now, it's passable bookkeeping tool, but needs more reliability to replace traditional methods fully.
